July and August, 2013

July and August, 2013
October 25, 2013 (Friday)

I haven't written my blog for a very long time, in fact, I stopped after I finished LCB in June.  At first, I just wanted to create this blog for my journey of learning French pastry at LCB in Ottawa.  Now that I know there are many people are interested in what's going on in my life, especially those who live oversea.  I think I should start writing it again.

Gift for Chef Jocelyn Bouzenard from Douce France

Volunteering for LCB, helping Chef Jocelyn Bouzenard in demo at Cirillo's Academy in Toronto, I had to do a little speech about my personal experience in LCB, and helped answering audiences' questions.  It was so funny that when people asked about students' ages, Chef Jocelyn turned his head and looked at me! LOL People who know about my age know what I mean.  Chef Jocelyn also was praising the creme brûlée I made in class, was one of the best he ever had..... and also saying I was his best student! *blushing* It was so nice to see Chef Jocelyn and Linda again.

Went to Kalahari resort in Sandusky, Ohio with Mandy for her work trip. (Kelleys Island; Put-In-Bay)

Moving back to Toronto from Ottawa
Thanks James, Mandy, Cindy and Gary for helping me move.  Basically, I was busy getting furnitures ready before Monica and Yuki's arrival.  My nephew, Yuki would be coming to Toronto for education, so I would have a housemate! Also, this month, Cindy and I started taking French lesson.  We got a private tutor, Perle, and met once a week for lesson in Starbucks.
