A Day before Cynthia's Leaving: Cynthia came to my place, then we walked to school and met Cindy there.  We went up to student service to ask Jeremie what group we would be in for this term.  He won't show us the list, just told Cindy and me that we both would be in group B.  It's Cynthia's last time being in LCBO! Then we went to her place, transferred pictures from my hard drive to their laptops, and watched Korean show.  Then, we met Dina at Elgin Street Diner http://www.elginstreetdiner.com
Dina just got back to Ottawa from her trip to India and Russia yesterday.  It was nice to see her again.  Then we had gelato in Pure Gelato http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/250/1430573/restaurant/Centretown-Downtown/Pure-Gelato-Ottawa Then we went to visit Luna (Dina's cat)!

Cynthia's Leaving: Cynthia, Cindy, Jason, Quinn and I had lunch in Johnny Farlina http://www.johnnyfarina.com We had a grumpy waitress.... the food was okay.  I ordered Italian sausage penne, and red velvet cake with vanilla ice-cream.  Then, Quinn went home, the rest of us went to Cynthia's place.  We waited until the cab came to pick up us, then headed to the airport.  I'd never been to Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport.  It's quite small.  One of Cynthia's luggages was overweight.  She either paid CND$100 or rearranged her luggages.  Thank God for our talents, we did it! She saved $100! We just had something to drink and waited for her departure time.  It was sad to see her go, but happy for her accomplishments and time to reunite with family.  I personally am glad to have known her and develop our great friendships! Cynthia, thanks for your help all along! And hope to see you in Asia!! Bali or Hong Kong!! :-)

Thanks Cynthia for getting me the MAMA noodles! ;-)

Lecture#101: As usual, I would go to school early and get myself ready.  I saw Quinn and Dina after I changed uniform.  Dina and I decided to go up to room 2C, to see if the group lists were up.  When we went up, Chef Eric Jaouan and Chef Arnaud Bonnefoy saw us and came out to greet us.  Chef Eric was cheerful (since who he was cheerful?? Joking!! and he shook our hands.  And he asked if we wanted danish since he made some this morning.  Wow, he was nice or what? LOL Thanks for the yummy danish! He also told us that Chef Hervé Chabert had hired him to be his assistant.  I thought he was joking, but then I saw him assisting Chef Hervé in our class.  Well, it's real! Chef Hervé demonstrated how to make Bûche de Noël (Yule log), and soufflé chaud au chocolat (hot chocolate soufflé)

April 6, 2013 Saturday
Savoury Tarts Workshop: Chef Eric Jaouan demonstrated to us how to make Tarte à l'oignon (Onion Tart); Tarte Épinards Saumon (Spinach and Salmon Tart); and Tarte Légumes Mozzarella (Vegetable and Mozzarella Tart) today.  As I said before, Chef Eric was so nice to greet us, and shook hands!!! :-)

Bruna didn't want picture taken!! And I did it anyway! :-)

Gift Tanvi got me from India!! :-)  It's what they use for curry dish!! And 10 rupees can get me a bag of chip in India according to Tanvi! :-)  Thanks Tanvi!!!
